The Action Alliance uses Zoom for live online trainings and webinars. Zoom's accessibility features can be found here. While we recommend that participants use a device on which Zoom is installed, they can also join through the browser of choice without having to install an app.
We do our best to provide audio descriptions of visual content, summarize chats, and prompt attendees to provide feedback. We encourage attendees to utilize the chat and meeting reactions when participating. These sessions will be recorded, and we will remind participants at the start of each session. Recorded sessions will be published on YouTube; the link will be given only to registered participants.
Our webinars and trainings are in spoken and written English, and live captioning will be available. We review our slides and resources to ensure that they contain alt text for images, use type that is in 14-point font or larger, and have high-contrast color options. Copies of slides can be provided in advance upon request. If you have any questions or concerns about the accessibility of our online trainings, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via firstname.lastname@example.org.
